Sol Haven is a Shire (a local chapter) of the Society for Creative Anachronism (a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the study and enjoyment of the middle ages). The Shire exists within the Kingdom of Meridies , which encompasses most of the state of Georgia, Alabama, most of Tennessee, the panhandle of Florida, part of Kentucky, and part of Virginia.
The Shire of Sol Haven itself is mundanely located in Conyers, Georgia (about 20 miles southeast of Atlanta). We also have members in Covington, Oxford, Jackson, Jonesboro, Monticello, and other surrounding areas. Sol Haven welcomes newcomers, and we encourage interested gentles to check us out. All meetings are open to the public, and we like seeing new faces. Our meetings are held every Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. at the Fire Station at 1164 Scott Street in Conyers.
