The SCA provides public demonstrations free of charge (though we do accept donations) to schools, churches, civic organizations, scout troops, and other groups. We are not a performance troop, but we can speak on a variety of subjects pertaining to the historical Middle Ages, give demonstrations of fighting, dancing, and music, and bring with us items for static display. However, because our members have regular jobs and families, availabilityand content of demos depends quite often upon time, date, and amount of advance notice.

Our most recent Demo was held at the Flippen Elementary School on Friday May 18th at 9:30am. The theme was "Men Who Rule, Men Who Fight and Men Who Pray", and we expect to have some photos posted soon.

A Demo was held at Carmike Cimemas in Conyers on Sunday January 15th 2006 for the movie Tristan & Idolde. Below are a few photos taken at that demo [clicking on them will bring up a larger image].

This demo was held at Heritage High School in Conyers on Friday November 18th 2005. Below are a few photos taken at that demo [clicking on them will bring up a larger image].

We also held a demo on Saturday May 7th 2005 at the Carmike Cinemas in Conyers for the opening of the movie "Kingdom of Heaven". Below are a few photos taken at the demo [clicking on them will bring up a larger image] which ran for a number of hours that evening preceeding each showing of the movie as well as during the showings. While this mainly was a fighting demo we also had some dancing, a lot of people participating, and a lot of fun.
